Spectators: 7454 (Terracing: 5591, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bartolo Oso started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Bancruz F.C got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Maiorga. Gheorghe Comănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Mannuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bancruz F.C booed when Hope AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Zgîrţa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Mannuel in the 14th minute of play forced Hope AFC's goalkeeper Gheorghe Comănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Timoteo Jaume hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inocencio Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Barbu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Mihail Dănescu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes Bancruz F.C got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Gehl. After a rather tough play, Hope AFC's Emanuel Barbu got a free kick in the 27th minute. Raimundo Mannuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gheorghe Comănescu having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Modesto Nesor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bancruz F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hope AFC the free kick. After 44 played minutes Bancruz F.C got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Nesor. Bartolo Oso got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 45th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. After 48 played minutes Hope AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Dănescu.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Mannuel to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Hope AFC defense, Humberto Rodas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gheorghe Comănescu. The Hope AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gheorghe Comănescu should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Humberto Rodas took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Gheorghe Comănescu to make any attempt to save it. Gheorghe Comănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Rodas, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th match minute, Bancruz F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Gehl to maneuver through the defense. Hope AFC's Gheorghe Comănescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Hope AFC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Bancruz F.C's Genaro Handi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Eugen Sava was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hope AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bancruz F.C the free kick. After 74 played minutes Hope AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Sava. A collision led to Hope AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Eugen Sava hit a great ball. In the 76th minute of the match Horacio Neron shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gheorghe Comănescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 78th minute Emanuel Barbu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Hope AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Rodas came free, but Gheorghe Comănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gheorghe Comănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Rodas in the 84th minute of play. Bancruz F.C's Timoteo Jaume suffered a concussion after 84 minutes and had to leave the field. Dacian Capisizu kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Gheorghe Comănescu made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Humberto Rodas sent off a good shot on target. Nemesio Maiorga kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hope AFC's Răzvan Verzea got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Bancruz F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hope AFC throughout the match.
