Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bartolo Oso got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Barbu in the 4th minute of play forced Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Xandinho Bomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gugu Silva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gheorghe Comănescu. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 9th minute, Dacian Capisizu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hope AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Silvério Barral scored to the left of an out of position Gheorghe Comănescu, making the score, 2-0. After 20 played minutes Hope AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Purje. Xandinho Bomba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Purje's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute Bartolo Oso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xandinho Bomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Purje's late challenge caught a Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Purje helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Hope AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Purje. Xandinho Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Purje in the 31st minute of play. Gheorghe Comănescu made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Gugu Silva sent off a good shot on target. Xandinho Bomba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Purje, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Bartolo Oso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xandinho Bomba. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolo Oso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 42 played minutes Hope AFC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Hâjdău. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gugu Silva got free with Gheorghe Comănescu in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gugu Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. Giuseppe da Costa struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Gheorghe Comănescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ. If Giuseppe da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Xandinho Bomba got control of the ball when Bartolo Oso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xandinho Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Purje in the 61st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Oso got free with Xandinho Bomba in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gugu Silva hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Giuseppe da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gheorghe Comănescu having to interfere. With a little luck, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Xandinho Bomba got control of the ball when Bartolo Oso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bartolo Oso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xandinho Bomba came out and tried to block the shot, but Bartolo Oso slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 77th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Gugu Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gheorghe Comănescu. Hope AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gugu Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Gheorghe Comănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Silvério Barral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hope AFC the free kick. Silvério Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Xandinho Bomba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Purje in the 92nd minute of play. Hope AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
