Ferrari fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when S.C. Ferrari's Rui de Lima looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Real Murçia FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S.C. Ferrari were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui de Lima made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Rui de Lima took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Francesco Bomba to make any attempt to save it. In the 61stth minute of the game Rui de Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Murçia FC's Francesco Bomba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Aníbal Furlan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Francesco Bomba. Aníbal Furlan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Attilio Mameli kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of S.C. Ferrari booed when Real Murçia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Laudadio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes, S.C. Ferrari's Filipe Souza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francesco Bomba came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.C. Ferrari reached it. The audience was convinced that Rui de Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francesco Bomba was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Deivid Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Francesco Bomba made a huge save. A well placed Rui de Lima short distance shot in the 93rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross.
