Fausto Salvino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Arne Ambjörnsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerardo Oriche went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Gerardo Oriche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Halcones Azules fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Salvino got free with Arne Ambjörnsson in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arne Ambjörnsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fausto Salvino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 27 minute of play. After some careless play in the Surahammar defense, Gerardo Oriche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Ambjörnsson. The Surahammar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Ambjörnsson should have stopped the shot. Rudolf Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Arne Ambjörnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Baleren, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Ruben Salvadore's late challenge caught a Surahammar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Salvadore helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Surahammar booed when Halcones Azules was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Salvadore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Ambjörnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Oriche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Halcones Azules getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Felipe Loren hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match Mattias Drewitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Oskar Odén showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alf Lindmark to make the kick off. Nicklas Hjortberg struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Karl-Oskar Odén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Surahammar. When Surahammar's Alf Lindmark in 55 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Karl-Oskar Odén guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 60th minute, Donato Baleren made a precise shot to the right of Arne Ambjörnsson. Surahammar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 63rd minute, Donato Baleren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Kauldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Arne Ambjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halcones Azules's Lázaro Navarro was substituted for Fausto Salvino. Lázaro Navarro hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When Surahammar's Nicklas Hjortberg in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Halcones Azules's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Surahammar the free kick. In the 89th minute, Benito Isaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 minutes of play, Halcones Azules's Lázaro Navarro made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Ambjörnsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Halcones Azules were the better team. Halcones Azules's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
