Spectators: 7618 (Terracing: 5714, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alf Lindmark took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sören Blanck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arne Ambjörnsson. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 11th minute, Per-Oskar Tinglöv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arne Ambjörnsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Borut Špiček. Karl-Oskar Göransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Lindmark in the 17th minute of the match. Surahammar's Arne Ambjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borut Špiček in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Surahammar's goalkeeper Arne Ambjörnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Miguel Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Avantgarde's Ray Saturno got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute, Egil Dahlgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Ambjörnsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Karl-Oskar Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicklas Hjortberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alf Lindmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Borut Špiček took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Arne Ambjörnsson to make any attempt to save it. In the 41st minute, Per Rudberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes Surahammar got a freekick which was hit by Per Rudberg. Egil Dahlgren came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arne Ambjörnsson could save by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Borut Špiček made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Avantgarde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sören Blanck to maneuver through the defense. If Per Rudberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, Avantgarde's Borut Špiček nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arne Ambjörnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Arne Ambjörnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egil Dahlgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egil Dahlgren in the 65th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Arne Ambjörnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Ambjörnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Dahlgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Egil Dahlgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Surahammar's Arne Ambjörnsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Borut Špiček received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Arne Ambjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avantgarde's Edvard Lustig got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alf Lindmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calle Beck hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Avantgarde's zone, Nicklas Hjortberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Oskar Göransson came out of the goal and Nicklas Hjortberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Žika Dinčić hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Markus Bergsten hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Alf Lindmark came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Surahammar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Lindmark couldn't finish the play. Sören Blanck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Ambjörnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Blanck, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Avantgarde had played much better football throughout.
