Doping Positivo were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Alzaga FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Damaso Udalaitz took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Telmo in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Nesto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Alzaga FC booed when Doping Positivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Urbasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Ignazio lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Doping Positivo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Carter Gargano, was totally fooled by Alzaga FC's Celedonio Erdiano, who 12 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jorge Nesto came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Doping Positivo's Evelio Urbasa. But to his dismay, Evelio Urbasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jorge Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Urbasa in the 23rd minute of play. Jorge Nesto came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Doping Positivo's Evelio Urbasa. But to his dismay, Evelio Urbasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jorge Nesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Urbasa in the 30th minute of the match. When Alzaga FC's Placido Lia in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Doping Positivo's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Placido Lia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alzaga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Lia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carter Gargano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doping Positivo's Carter Gargano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Erdiano in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Erdiano in the 42nd minute of play forced Doping Positivo's goalkeeper Carter Gargano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Doping Positivo's goalkeeper Carter Gargano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Lia. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celedonio Erdiano to make the kick off. Carter Gargano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Lia in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alzaga FC's Celedonio Erdiano got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Doping Positivo's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Lia came free, but Carter Gargano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placido Lia took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carter Gargano. Carter Gargano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 67 minutes into the match, Doping Positivo's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Erdiano came free, but Carter Gargano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evelio Urbasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Nesto having to interfere. Doping Positivo made a substitution. Roque Laurin replaced Damaso Udalaitz. Alberto Fernández made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Doping Positivo's Muno Olano. After some careless play in the Alzaga FC defense, Evelio Urbasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Nesto. The Alzaga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Nesto should have stopped the shot. Carter Gargano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Celedonio Erdiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Doping Positivo booed when Alzaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Fernández didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Erdiano kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Alzaga FC's Placido Lia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carter Gargano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Alberto Fernández threw the ball into play from the sideline. Doping Positivo's Mauro Telmo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evelio Urbasa got free with Jorge Nesto in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Doping Positivo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
