The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes Belgrano de Pibasog's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jakob Viskens who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jakob Viskens almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belgrano de Pibasog's Andres Ignatius did a great save. Belgrano de Pibasog's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Arnold Peten scored to the left of an out of position Andres Ignatius, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnold Peten in the 10th minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Andres Ignatius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes, Timy Mallaerts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Koolkerke and the Belgrano de Pibasog players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthy Verlinden in the 14th minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Andres Ignatius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Olivier Verheije was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Koolkerke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgrano de Pibasog the free kick. Olivier Verheije kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Mattheo Caspers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Gregory, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute of the game Cesar Quilo made a throw-in which Modesto Celipe played forward. Arnold Peten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Ignatius having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Peten came free, but Andres Ignatius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Saverio Baumar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 minutes of play, AFC Koolkerke's Matthy Verlinden made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andres Ignatius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Saverio Baumar hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. AFC Koolkerke's Mattheo Caspers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Lain in the 62nd minute of play. After 70 minutes, Cesar Quilo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgrano de Pibasog and the AFC Koolkerke players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abel Gregory could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Mattheo Caspers made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomiro Udalaitz got free with Mattheo Caspers in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Baldomiro Udalaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the game, AFC Koolkerke's Matthy Verlinden nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andres Ignatius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 94 played minutes Belgrano de Pibasog got a freekick which was hit by Donato Darien. The supporters of Belgrano de Pibasog booed when AFC Koolkerke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koen Uytterhaegen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Saverio Baumar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Baumar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattheo Caspers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because AFC Koolkerke had won, even though Belgrano de Pibasog had held more of the ball.
