After a rather tough play, Fillos de Breogán's Xaime Fuentes got a free kick in the 15th minute. Rubén Diaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sten Jonasson went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Fritz Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes of play, Bearnaise EA's Michel Byström made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubén Diaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Fillos de Breogán's Primo Romero got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Rubén Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Håkansson in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Fritz Håkansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubén Diaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubén Diaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mårten Alström, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Rubén Diaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
