Federico Vilchez kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Kahraman Kunter came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by SAPRIMECKBEL's Mićo Grande. But to his dismay, Mićo Grande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Lokomotiv Bornova getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Hayati Tokyüz hit a great ball. SAPRIMECKBEL's Ramon Mena got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Coşkun Usman hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Kahraman Kunter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mićo Grande, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of SAPRIMECKBEL booed when Lokomotiv Bornova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayati Tokyüz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Guillermo Araya managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAPRIMECKBEL's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Araya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kahraman Kunter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 4-0 became the score in the 34th minute when Guillermo Araya elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. SAPRIMECKBEL's Salvador Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayati Tokyüz in the 38th minute of play. Salvador Mata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artaç Dalmaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SAPRIMECKBEL's Mićo Grande got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramon Mena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kahraman Kunter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atacan Kirmanşah hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artaç Dalmaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SAPRIMECKBEL's Mićo Grande got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guillermo Araya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Kahraman Kunter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mićo Grande might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kahraman Kunter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After a defensive mix-up in Lokomotiv Bornova's zone, Ramon Mena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kahraman Kunter came out of the goal and Ramon Mena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
