Diego Marino's late challenge caught a ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Marino helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes CF Scalonetos got a freekick which was hit by Diego Marino. 6 minutes into the game, Ernst Cakir recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmed Long. Ernst Cakir showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 12 played minutes CF Scalonetos got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Ieltxu. After having played for 17 minutes, Adam Pollakowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Pollakowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 played minutes CF Scalonetos got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Balesio. In the 23rd match minute, CF Scalonetos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Urtats to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th match minute, CF Scalonetos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Endura to maneuver through the defense. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Julien Marxer got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Herbert Good played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Abajas in the 30th minute of play. Lucio Abajas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herbert Good having to make a save. Adam Pollakowski's late challenge caught a CF Scalonetos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Pollakowski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CF Scalonetos booed when ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Pollakowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Lucio Abajas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Good. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucio Abajas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 44th minute Dominik Ritter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Long saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by CF Scalonetos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eddy Moser was slow to take the kick. During this time ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's players had a chance to rest. Mike Oehri hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Julien Marxer in the 50th minute of play forced CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Ahmed Long to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 50thth minute of the game Julien Marxer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CF Scalonetos's Ahmed Long was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicasio Endura kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Eddy Moser sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CF Scalonetos's Ahmed Long didn't even have to move. 55 minutes into the match, Julien Marxer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmed Long. CF Scalonetos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julien Marxer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Herbert Good proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, Alejo Iraido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Ernst Cakir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmed Long was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 66th minute Julien Marxer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Long saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Good made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Abajas in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CF Scalonetos's Erubiel Cerilo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Ahmed Long showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Cakir in the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's zone, Lucio Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Good came out of the goal and Lucio Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernd Heid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmed Long stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julien Marxer's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Ahmed Long showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Cakir in the 86th minute of the match. CF Scalonetos's Ahmed Long played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julien Marxer in the 91st minute of play.
