The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pitin Baños made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Leonardo Claude sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th match minute, ALIANZA 1901 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veremundo Varona to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Senen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Pitin Baños made a huge save. The attack was good, but when Leonardo Claude in the 13th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Iruinea got free with Pitin Baños in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Senen in the 22nd minute of play forced ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Pitin Baños to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Tama were awarded a corner. Rigoberto Eleazar went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Geofredo Vello put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of ALIANZA 1901:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tama:s goal. ALIANZA 1901:s Pitin Baños showed great skill when he stopped Rigoberto Eleazar:s penalty. It was a brilliant solo performance by Tama's Rigoberto Eleazar when he shot the ball into the net to 3-0 in the 30th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jesus Iruinea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pitin Baños. That made the score 4-0 in the 34 minute of play. With a little luck, ALIANZA 1901's Pitin Baños got control of the ball when Leonardo Claude tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Veremundo Varona fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ALIANZA 1901's protests and gave Veremundo Varona a yellow card for diving instead. Veremundo Varona kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ALIANZA 1901 defense, Jesus Iruinea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pitin Baños. The ALIANZA 1901 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pitin Baños should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gartzi Domingo to strike the kick off in the second half. Pitin Baños stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Frans's shot from short distance in the 50th minute. Pitin Baños showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Enol, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Jesus Iruinea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Senen in the 67th minute of play forced ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Pitin Baños to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Senen came free, but Pitin Baños reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Manuel Enol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pitin Baños. ALIANZA 1901's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Enol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Pitin Baños didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benigno Frans went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Tama players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
