Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Gláuber Bertassi charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gláuber Bertassi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SOUTH THUNDER booed when Azulgrana 81 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvaro Karmel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Van Field's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 18th minute, SOUTH THUNDER's Van Field dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Van Field kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alvaro Karmel. That made the score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. Alvaro Karmel was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Van Field capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Van Field really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. In the 34th minute, Van Field reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Karmel. The goal made the score 5-0. The audience was convinced that Van Field's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Karmel was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After 38 played minutes Van Field could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 6-0 into the left cross. Alvaro Karmel was a little too slow when Van Field got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 7-0. In the 47th match minute, Azulgrana 81 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Horring to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save SOUTH THUNDER from getting a goal against them. Mauro Cordearo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Txurio in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Mauro Cordearo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Szilárd Szaniszló hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes Azulgrana 81's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Augusto Procopio who took care of the corner kick. When Germán Pezzella fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SOUTH THUNDER's protests and gave Germán Pezzella a yellow card for diving instead. Germán Pezzella kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Azulgrana 81's Pedro Casomiro tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Azulgrana 81 defense, Franco Mastantuono kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Karmel. The Azulgrana 81 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Karmel should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Azulgrana 81's Remigio Bingen got a free kick in the 75th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Van Field during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Van Field hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gláuber Bertassi was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Gláuber Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. If Franco Mastantuono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco Mastantuono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Szilárd Szaniszló hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match.
