The referee ignored Karhulan Veikot's protests and gave Kaarle Tukio a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Karhulan Veikot got a freekick which was hit by Kaarle Tukio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Alves in the 18th minute of play forced Karhulan Veikot's goalkeeper Jere Noronen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flávio Fantini was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roni Vihermäki. Ari Alin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flávio Fantini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaarlo Heliskoski in the 34th minute of play forced S.C.PAULISTA's goalkeeper Flávio Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Róbson de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Cláudio Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th match minute, S.C.PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Ari Alin charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ari Alin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Karhulan Veikot getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ari Alin hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Cipriano Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jere Noronen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Róbson de Amaral hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, Karhulan Veikot's Ari Alin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flávio Fantini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 84th minute, Cipriano Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Karhulan Veikot's Ari Alin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flávio Fantini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karhulan Veikot were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of S.C.PAULISTA for a fine match.
