Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Arsenio Efraim started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Efraim came free, but Hans Baunbæk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villa Ballester FC's Edgardo Librado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeppe Tverskov in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Benjamin Nygren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Nordsjælland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Nygren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgardo Librado stood somewhat misplaced when Dimitar Berbatov came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. 20 minutes into the match, Villa Ballester FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Librado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sindre Walle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitar Berbatov in the 22nd minute of play forced Villa Ballester FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Librado was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Jeppe Tverskov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jeppe Tverskov really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Ballester FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Librado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, FC Nordsjælland's Edgardo Librado threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamin Nygren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edgardo Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Nygren in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, FC Nordsjælland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Dybhøj to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Villa Ballester FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Librado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sindre Walle. In the 36th minute, Jeppe Tverskov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgardo Librado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sindre Walle in the 42nd minute. In the 42nd minute, Sindre Walle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edgardo Librado. The goal made the score 3-0. Edgardo Librado came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Nordsjælland's Dimitar Berbatov. But to his dismay, Dimitar Berbatov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

FC Nordsjælland made a substitution. Ibrahim Osman replaced Benjamin Nygren. After a defensive mix-up in FC Nordsjælland's zone, Arsenio Efraim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Baunbæk came out of the goal and Arsenio Efraim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ibrahim Osman in the 55th minute of play forced Villa Ballester FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Dybhøj hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when Villa Ballester FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Pero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villa Ballester FC's Edgardo Librado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitar Berbatov in the 61st minute of play. FC Nordsjælland were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Villa Ballester FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Svensson took the corner. FC Nordsjælland's Daniel Svensson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edgardo Librado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 64th minute, Dimitar Berbatov made a precise shot to the right of Edgardo Librado. Villa Ballester FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Edgardo Librado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sindre Walle in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Sindre Walle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Edgardo Librado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute Sindre Walle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Librado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Librado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ibrahim Osman in the 82nd minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, FC Nordsjælland's Dimitar Berbatov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgardo Librado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sindre Walle in the 90th minute of play forced Villa Ballester FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Librado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ibrahim Osman went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Edgardo Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitar Berbatov in the 98th minute of the match. FC Nordsjælland's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
