Marcu Tărbac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Berdaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The supporters of Brujas KV booed when FC TraLaLa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Bratoloveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Hugo Vetlesen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcu Tărbac skillfully saved the ball. Marcu Tărbac didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hans Vanacker went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the FC TraLaLa defense, Raimundo Felo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcu Tărbac. The FC TraLaLa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcu Tărbac should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Roman Berdaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Brujas KV's Adrian Naelio got a free kick in the 35th minute. Adrian Naelio kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, FC TraLaLa's Ioan Donecea made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Servando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brujas KV's Teodoro Servando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioan Donecea in the 43rd minute of play. When Ioan Donecea fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC TraLaLa's protests and gave Ioan Donecea a yellow card for diving instead. After 48 played minutes FC TraLaLa got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Donecea. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Ioan Donecea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. FC TraLaLa's Marcu Tărbac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Vanacker in the 66th minute of play. Ernest Porumboiu's late challenge caught a Brujas KV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernest Porumboiu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Ernest Porumboiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, FC TraLaLa's Mircea Şchiopu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mircea Şchiopu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC TraLaLa protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mircea Şchiopu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Mircea Şchiopu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Hugo Vetlesen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcu Tărbac. FC TraLaLa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 90 played minutes FC TraLaLa got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Ciocâltea. Roman Berdaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Brujas KV were the better team. Brujas KV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
