The referee ignored Conakry FC's protests and gave Dudley DeJesus a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Conakry FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dudley DeJesus hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes 〓JUVE★兄弟〓￠闪电￠日本川崎前锋 got a freekick which was hit by 胡康广. Oswaldo Mills fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 王克钢 having to interfere. 〓JUVE★兄弟〓￠闪电￠日本川崎前锋's 王克钢 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save 〓JUVE★兄弟〓￠闪电￠日本川崎前锋 from getting a goal against them. 王克钢 made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Dudley DeJesus sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 高洲奕 to make the kick off.
