Teodoro Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Romani having to interfere. Leonardo Romani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Bezerra in the 24th minute of play. Glauco Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pello Cameno in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Belasko Benito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Glauco Velloso, 3-1. In the 36th minute, Shark FC - FSCMZ's David Sharkin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed David Sharkin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Shark FC - FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and David Sharkin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 38th minute of the match Javier Maroto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Glauco Velloso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Belasko Benito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Glauco Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belasko Benito in the 40th minute. The supporters of Club Deportivo O IRIXO booed when Shark FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th match minute, Shark FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrei Gil to strike the kick off in the second half. Rui Mandrak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonardo Romani. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Glauco Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pello Cameno in the 61st minute of play. Leonardo Romani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinho de Toledo in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Andrei Gil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Glauco Velloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 76th minute Andrei Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glauco Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Gil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's attentive Macerio Sarro managed to snatch the ball when Waldemar Vergílio made a throw-in in the 81st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Percival Matorin got a free kick in the 83rd minute. During the 88th minute of the match Belasko Benito completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Belasko Benito a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Belasko Benito hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
