The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Eusébio Motta put in a rough tackle. After 17 played minutes Renegades got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Motta. After a defensive mix-up in Renegades's zone, Thorkild Vilfeldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yoto Boshikyov came out of the goal and Thorkild Vilfeldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, FC Hyklerne's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Wenning came free, but Hasan Bræmdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rikki Standrup during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Rikki Standrup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yoto Boshikyov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ejner Largren in the 30th minute. If Gustav Wenning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yoto Boshikyov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guy Pearce in the 38th minute. Yoto Boshikyov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asmund Geinæs in the 40th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Yoto Boshikyov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Asmund Geinæs succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 40th playminute. A collision led to FC Hyklerne getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Terry Schouli hit a great ball. Therkil Kammesgaard's late challenge caught a FC Hyklerne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Therkil Kammesgaard helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Renegades's Therkil Kammesgaard got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Renegades's Yoto Boshikyov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guy Pearce in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute Asmund Geinæs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoto Boshikyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Hyklerne's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thorkild Vilfeldt in the 58th minute. The corner ended in Thorkild Vilfeldt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Renegades's Yoto Boshikyov did a great save. In the 61st minute Asmund Geinæs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoto Boshikyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asmund Geinæs in the 63rd minute of play forced Renegades's goalkeeper Yoto Boshikyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frode Numelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hasan Bræmdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guy Pearce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yoto Boshikyov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Yoto Boshikyov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asmund Geinæs, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 71 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC Hyklerne's Asmund Geinæs fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asmund Geinæs in the 75th minute of play forced Renegades's goalkeeper Yoto Boshikyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes FC Hyklerne got a freekick which was hit by Ejner Largren. Erhardt Wall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Renegades defense, Thorkild Vilfeldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yoto Boshikyov. The Renegades fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yoto Boshikyov should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the game, Terry Schouli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Hyklerne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Renegades the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Hyklerne's Terry Schouli got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute of the match Erhardt Wall shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hasan Bræmdal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Renegades walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
