Atilano Intxixu came out of the goal and Demetrio Vespa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 minutes, Emilio Di Fazio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Roma and the Funebrero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Di Fazio. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Roma's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruben Balesio was slow to take the kick. During this time Funebrero FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Funebrero FC's Basilio Valiente to fire away a dangerous shot which Anselmo Cirulli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Funebrero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrio Vespa came free, but Atilano Intxixu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilano Intxixu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Barresi went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When Fabio Cirelli fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Roma's protests and gave Fabio Cirelli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, Funebrero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Suarez to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, AC Roma's Antonio Cerasoli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilano Intxixu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 84 minutes into the match, Antonio Cerasoli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atilano Intxixu. Funebrero FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Cerasoli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Atilano Intxixu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Cirelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 played minutes Funebrero FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Balesio. A collision led to Funebrero FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Basilio Valiente hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AC Roma had played much better football throughout.
