The audience was convinced that Kostas Triantopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerzy Ciborek was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Jerzy Ciborek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Nadodrze Wrocław's Tymoteusz Misiorowski got a free kick in the 88th minute. Marian Glaza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Thomas Papagiotopoulos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Kostas Triantopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Ciborek was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. ΠΑΟΚ FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
