After 13 minutes of play, Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s Ramon Sotomayor made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Markus Albäck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Markus Albäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Sotomayor, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Markus Albäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Valera in the 19th minute of play. Burni Tornamira took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Albäck. Markus Albäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Nye were furious when Sivert Josefsson was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nye fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! The penalty shot was made by Sengrat Sañudo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nye's Markus Albäck. 0-7. 36 minutes into the match, Nye's goal looked a bit too open when Burni Tornamira came free, but Markus Albäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s Markus Albäck threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Salvador Valera, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
