Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Edelmiro Galindo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Æsir Ásgarðr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hrói Indriðason to maneuver through the defense. After 3 played minutes AFTER GYM FC got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Galindo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ámundi Hallmundsson in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Mosen saved AFTER GYM FC from getting behind. In the 4thth minute of the game Ámundi Hallmundsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFTER GYM FC's Ricardo Mosen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Æsir Ásgarðr's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sólbjörn Guðnason in the 5th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of AFTER GYM FC's goalie and right to Mórits Hamarsson. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. AFTER GYM FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Galindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maggi Borgþórsson kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Æsir Ásgarðr's Skarphéðinn Ormarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Lartaun in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sólbjörn Guðnason got free with Ricardo Mosen in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hrói Indriðason's late challenge caught a AFTER GYM FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hrói Indriðason helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Æsir Ásgarðr got a freekick which was hit by Hrói Indriðason. Æsir Ásgarðr's Skarphéðinn Ormarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Galindo in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sólbjörn Guðnason to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Skjöldur Reimarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Mosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, AFTER GYM FC's Arnulfo Calvet got a free kick in the 75th minute. Edelmiro Galindo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Skarphéðinn Ormarsson having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Edelmiro Galindo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Skarphéðinn Ormarsson. That made the score 0-3 in the 80 minute of play. With a little luck, Æsir Ásgarðr's Skarphéðinn Ormarsson got control of the ball when Edelmiro Galindo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ámundi Hallmundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Æsir Ásgarðr's supporters rose to their feet, but Ámundi Hallmundsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Mosen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Galindo in the 93rd minute of play. When Iker Lartaun came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the AFTER GYM FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Lartaun couldn't finish the play. The AFTER GYM FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
