Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sólbjörn Guðnason in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Hisingen IK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Robin Sjöberg hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Skjöldur Reimarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Æsir Ásgarðr's supporters rose to their feet, but Skjöldur Reimarsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Einar Jernberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Jarl Kormáksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Einar Jernberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 23rd minute Sólbjörn Guðnason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Jernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Hisingen IK's Edvard Bergren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Skarphéðinn Ormarsson. That made the score 1-1 after 25 minutes of play. Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sólbjörn Guðnason in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarl Kormáksson in the 30th minute of play forced Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Einar Jernberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Æsir Ásgarðr booed when Hisingen IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Fagrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvard Bergren's late challenge caught a Æsir Ásgarðr's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edvard Bergren helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hisingen IK's Edvard Bergren got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Sólbjörn Guðnason left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Æsir Ásgarðr fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 43 minutes into the match, Hisingen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Sólbjörn Guðnason came free, but Einar Jernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Einar Jernberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarl Kormáksson in the 45th minute of the match. Einar Jernberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sólbjörn Guðnason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elliot Högman to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Æsir Ásgarðr's Sólbjörn Guðnason made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Einar Jernberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ámundi Hallmundsson succeeded in the game's 57th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. In the 64thth minute of the game Edvard Bergren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Æsir Ásgarðr's Skarphéðinn Ormarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarl Kormáksson in the 71st minute of play forced Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Einar Jernberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Hisingen IK's Elliot Högman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Æsir Ásgarðr's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
