Spectators: 7549 (Terracing: 5663, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isidoro Rijo started the match with the kick off. Flávio Perdigão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Higino Pessoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute Zezé Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Idalécio Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Chihuahua StrikerS™ defense, Isidoro Rijo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Idalécio Rego. The Chihuahua StrikerS™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Idalécio Rego should have stopped the shot. Idalécio Rego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zezé Haaland in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Pedro Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Idalécio Rego was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jorge Varanda's late challenge caught a Pinhote FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Varanda helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chihuahua StrikerS™ getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jorge Varanda hit a great ball. Idalécio Rego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Neto in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Chihuahua StrikerS™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Aires to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute Isidoro Rijo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Idalécio Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Aires kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Hipólito Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chihuahua StrikerS™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pinhote FC the free kick. A collision led to Chihuahua StrikerS™ getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Hipólito Campos hit a great ball. Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Idalécio Rego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Rijo in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match, Pedro Haaland tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Higino Pessoa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pinhote FC were furious when Gualter Lencastre was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Gualter Lencastre kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Jorge Varanda struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Higino Pessoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chihuahua StrikerS™. After the first half Pinhote FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

55 minutes into the match, Pedro Haaland notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pinhote FC's Higino Pessoa. Higino Pessoa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aldo Aires kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Pedro Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higino Pessoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Pinhote FC's goalie and right to Aldo Aires. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pinhote FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Pedro Haaland scored 2-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Higino Pessoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Haaland in the 72nd minute of play forced Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Higino Pessoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higino Pessoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes of play, Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Pedro Haaland made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higino Pessoa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Durval Bulhosa hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A collision led to Chihuahua StrikerS™ getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Aldo Aires hit a great ball. Pinhote FC's Higino Pessoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Haaland in the 91st minute of play. If Hélio Paião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higino Pessoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flávio Perdigão's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Chihuahua StrikerS™'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
