Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Attilio Mammarella in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jo Maerschalcx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 8 played minutes Zurlo Team got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Elguero. Jacky Wauters was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, one of SK Dreigoten:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SK Dreigoten. The supporters of SK Dreigoten booed when Zurlo Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wasyl Misiorowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Fernando Elguero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, SK Dreigoten's Amos Valcareggi threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fransesco Jenken, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 29 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goal looked a bit too open when Luka Toni came free, but Jo Maerschalcx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jo Maerschalcx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wasyl Misiorowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Zurlo Team's Attilio Mammarella in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Dreigoten's goalie prevented a goal. Jo Maerschalcx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Misiorowski in the 57th minute of the match. If Fransesco Jenken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelis Meys kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Attilio Mammarella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jo Maerschalcx was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Attilio Mammarella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Zurlo Team left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SK Dreigoten.
