Damaso Benvido was extremely unlucky when he, in the 4th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 6 minutes into the match, Damaso Benvido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Trasloseros. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Benvido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Gustavo Trasloseros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan from getting a goal against them. Gustavo Trasloseros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Arixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gimnasia y tiro's Jairo Azeari got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Gimnasia y tiro's Armando Basualdo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustavo Trasloseros. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. Gustavo Trasloseros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Cordarrol in the 18th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Gimnasia y tiro's Damaso Benvido ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gustavo Trasloseros. Gustavo Trasloseros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Arixo in the 30th minute of play forced Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper Gustavo Trasloseros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Gustavo Trasloseros got control of the ball when Armando Basualdo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Basualdo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gustavo Trasloseros came out and tried to block the shot, but Armando Basualdo slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 34th minute. In the 37th match minute, Gimnasia y tiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Basualdo to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Miguel Arixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Trasloseros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardo Mingo went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Arixo made a kick off. Miguel Arixo took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Trasloseros. Gustavo Trasloseros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Gustavo Trasloseros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Cutberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Armando Basualdo scored 10-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Trasloseros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustavo Trasloseros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Basualdo went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Mingo in the 69th minute of play forced Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper Gustavo Trasloseros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Cutberto made in the 71st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dalmacio Cordarrol however managed to control. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nardo Casaviella during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Nardo Casaviella hit a great ball. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Gustavo Trasloseros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Aznaro in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Miguel Arixo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Gustavo Trasloseros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miguel Arixo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Gustavo Trasloseros came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gimnasia y tiro's Teodoro Aznaro. But to his dismay, Teodoro Aznaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. Gustavo Trasloseros came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Gimnasia y tiro's Bernardo Mingo. But to his dismay, Bernardo Mingo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Mingo in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Trasloseros saved Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Teodoro Aznaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gimnasia y tiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 16-0.
