Spectators: 7553 (Terracing: 5666, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hector Gizon made the kick off which started today's match. When Stew Hicks came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the SnapperHeads F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stew Hicks couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Benney See hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jason Cameron kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When San Martin de Tucuman's Hector Gizon in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SnapperHeads F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Celedonio Peruxu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute Hector Gizon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clay Oconnell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Stew Hicks took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Celedonio Peruxu to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in San Martin de Tucuman's zone, Battle Holdsworth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Peruxu came out of the goal and Battle Holdsworth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st play minute Russ Smee came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Celedonio Peruxu. 3-0. Celedonio Peruxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Battle Holdsworth in the 36th minute of the match. Hector Gizon struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Clay Oconnell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Martin de Tucuman. The supporters of San Martin de Tucuman booed when SnapperHeads F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stew Hicks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Peruxu had great luck who in the 44thth minute grab hold of the ball when Stew Hicks from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Celedonio Peruxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stew Hicks in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Russ Smee stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SnapperHeads F.C.'s Russ Smee got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celedonio Peruxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stew Hicks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes, Russ Smee made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. San Martin de Tucuman's Celedonio Peruxu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Celedonio Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battle Holdsworth in the 63rd minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Stew Hicks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celedonio Peruxu. San Martin de Tucuman's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stew Hicks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Flavio Blai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 minutes, Russ Smee made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. San Martin de Tucuman's Celedonio Peruxu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When San Martin de Tucuman's Hector Gizon in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SnapperHeads F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Celedonio Peruxu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Russ Smee went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. SnapperHeads F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of San Martin de Tucuman for a fine match.
