The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonard Strömbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harold Breugel having to make a save. 7 minutes into the game, Joakim Allbom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Harold Breugel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Allbom in the 10th minute of play forced Pannekoeken's goalkeeper Harold Breugel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Arno Zonneveld's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernt Kinnman was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Leonard Strömbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arno Zonneveld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Lambers hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When Rafael Lambers came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Pannekoeken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Lambers couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Pannekoeken booed when Mugiwara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Allbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Arno Zonneveld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mugiwara FC booed when Pannekoeken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Kruit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arno Zonneveld could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Bernt Kinnman made a huge save. In the 48th minute, Leonard Strömbom made a precise shot to the right of Harold Breugel. Pannekoeken's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

Joakim Allbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Harold Breugel made a huge save. In the 58th match minute, Mugiwara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo-Erik Sjö to maneuver through the defense. Bernt Kinnman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arno Zonneveld in the 59th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mugiwara FC's Leonard Strömbom slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Harold Breugel. That made the score 0-3 after 61 minutes of play. Joakim Allbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Breugel having to interfere. A collision led to Mugiwara FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Kalle Josefsson hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match, Leonard Strömbom tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Harold Breugel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mugiwara FC's Bernt Kinnman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arno Zonneveld in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mugiwara FC's goalkeeper Bernt Kinnman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kalle Josefsson kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When Gert Plaggenborg fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pannekoeken's protests and gave Gert Plaggenborg a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Pannekoeken defense, Leonard Strömbom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harold Breugel. The Pannekoeken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harold Breugel should have stopped the shot. Mugiwara FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
