Ulrich Haas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johny Godefroid went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johny Godefroid couldn't finish the play. Ulrich Haas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart De Keyser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Büchel made a kick off. In the 65th minute, Lennart De Keyser made a precise shot to the right of Ulrich Haas. Holfenhein's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Johny Godefroid took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulrich Haas. Ulrich Haas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 75th minute, Johny Godefroid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan De Smet hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Fabian Maierhans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sammy Candries saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Invictus FC's Johny Godefroid nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulrich Haas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Lennart De Keyser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Invictus FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Holfenhein throughout the match.
