Ivek Majstorović dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 45 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Anderle came free, but Antonio Claeys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
In the 51st minute, Julien Anderle made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Claeys. FC Ouagadougou National's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After 56 minutes of play, FC Ouagadougou National's Armand Owerckx made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fajteri booed when FC Ouagadougou National was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Jaddon didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julien Anderle in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Antonio Claeys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julien Anderle struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Antonio Claeys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fajteri. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Marsel Pečjak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fajteri's supporters rose to their feet, but Marsel Pečjak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Claeys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Ouagadougou National eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
