The Gortaty fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 7 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Grzegorz Wodaszak. In the 10th match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Wodaszak to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Aleksander Bykowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kauã Sarmento was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. The audience cheered loudly when Miguel Xavier's long shot in the 18th minute became 2-1 when the ball went to the left of and passed Arturo Boruc. The audience was convinced that Aleksander Bykowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kauã Sarmento was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Kauã Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Bykowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. If Czeslaw Skrzypiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute Aleksander Bykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauã Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faustão Saldanha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Faustão Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 minutes, Miguel Xavier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matadores FC and the Gortaty players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Matadores FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Xavier. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Meireles in the 73rd minute of play forced Gortaty's goalkeeper Arturo Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Rosa came free, but Arturo Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aleksander Bykowski during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gortaty's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matadores FC the free kick. After 90 played minutes, Gortaty's Bartosz Chrzan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kauã Sarmento came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gortaty reached it. Nuno de Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno de Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Matadores FC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno de Souza. In the 95th minute of the match Sebastian Kasiewski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kauã Sarmento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
