Davi Meireles kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Nadzieja Speed Elblag's keeper Teun Gierman was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 9 played minutes Matadores FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Xavier. Davi Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Nadzieja Speed Elblag getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Arnout Piening hit a great ball. If Pim van Gaal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flávio Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Davi Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Nadzieja Speed Elblag booed when Matadores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Matadores FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Augusto Rosa hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nadzieja Speed Elblag's zone, Faustão Saldanha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teun Gierman came out of the goal and Faustão Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teun Gierman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davi Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's Augusto Rosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teun Gierman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nadzieja Speed Elblag's Teun Gierman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustão Saldanha in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Davi Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matadores FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Davi Meireles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teun Gierman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teun Gierman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Davi Meireles went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pim van Gaal made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Nadzieja Speed Elblag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pim van Gaal to maneuver through the defense. If Matthijs Heinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Flávio Tinoco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teun Gierman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Meireles in the 62nd minute of play forced Nadzieja Speed Elblag's goalkeeper Teun Gierman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Augusto Rosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matadores FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Teun Gierman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustão Saldanha's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Stef Graaff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rdth minute of the game Faustão Saldanha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nadzieja Speed Elblag's Teun Gierman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Augusto Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Matadores FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Rosa couldn't finish the play. Faustão Saldanha might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teun Gierman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faustão Saldanha ran back to his position shaking his head. Davi Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Faustão Saldanha struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Teun Gierman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matadores FC. Nadzieja Speed Elblag's Teun Gierman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Meireles in the 89th minute of play. Matadores FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
