After 3 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Artizar. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Renan Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Dolfos in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fermin Mingo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan Furtado was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. With a little luck, C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi got control of the ball when Vivaldo Pitta tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Fermin Mingo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermin Mingo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Constantino Bertol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Mingo took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan Furtado. Renan Furtado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Renan Furtado came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Atlanta's Constantino Bertol. But to his dismay, Constantino Bertol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Renan Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Mingo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Fermin Mingo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renan Furtado. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fermin Mingo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half C. A. Atlanta were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dobrašin Nevin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as C. A. Atlanta's Fermin Mingo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Renan Furtado. That made the score 0-4 after 53 minutes of play. Jonathan dos Santos hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Fermin Mingo took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Renan Furtado to make any attempt to save it. Fermin Mingo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Renan Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Iker Dolfos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Renan Furtado, 0-7. 78 minutes into the match, Fermin Mingo notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Renan Furtado. Renan Furtado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute, Apolo Artizar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantino Bertol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Renan Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, C. A. Atlanta's Constantino Bertol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Renan Furtado. Renan Furtado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. After 90 minutes, Rodolfo Etxepare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Atlanta and the TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodolfo Etxepare kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Constantino Bertol managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Bertol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Waldemar da Silva hit a great ball. When the match was over C. A. Atlanta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG throughout the match.
