Nildo Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Anestis Kakalis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 12 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Sampaio. Eliseu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafinha Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Ismael de Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20thth minute of the game Rafinha Gonçalves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gildo Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Gildo Corrêa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Loser FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.E. Cachoeirinha the free kick. After 27 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Corrêa. New Loser FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after S.E. Cachoeirinha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aírton Quirino took the corner. Tarcisio Bezerra was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ismael de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anestis Kakalis in the 33rd minute of the match. Ismael de Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anestis Kakalis went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Eurico Ceresso charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eurico Ceresso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

After 52 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Marco de Castro. In the 56thth minute of the game Anestis Kakalis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute, Anestis Kakalis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael de Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Ismael de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anestis Kakalis, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ismael de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anestis Kakalis in the 68th minute of play. Ismael de Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anestis Kakalis went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nando Moreno in the 83rd minute of play. Anestis Kakalis scored 7-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael de Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 87 minutes of play, New Loser FC's Anestis Kakalis made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael de Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Quirino came free, but Ismael de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that New Loser FC were the better team. New Loser FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
