Arnaldo Macerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Emanuele Biavati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weltevedren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuele Biavati was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th match minute, Weltevedren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Ferri to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the match, EL CERVECERO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emanuele Biavati came free, but Arnaldo Macerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Perri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Dolcet in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Ettore Ferri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Macerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Lucas Perri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Dolcet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of EL CERVECERO F.C. booed when Weltevedren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Ferri didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfo Jerrold during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
