Johnny Joensson hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Benito Tipi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordairo Torrente in the 21st minute of play. Valdemar Granberg made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Alfonso Isaio sent off a good shot on target. When Alfonso Isaio came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the EL CERVECERO F.C. fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of Honung booed when EL CERVECERO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Tipi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Sven-Erik Palmquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 78 minutes, Niceto Furtado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL CERVECERO F.C. and the Honung players grew even worse after the yellow card.
