The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Bergdal got free with Christovao Haces in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Club Dep. Soc. Rodo getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Gonchan Marisancena hit a great ball. In the 11th minute Josef Askestät shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christovao Haces saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Elvira to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, BK Gubbhöft's Josef Askestät ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christovao Haces. Christovao Haces yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Juan-Carlos Otero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wictor Walroth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Christovao Haces made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Angelo Elvira got a free kick in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Christovao Haces got control of the ball when Alf Benet tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alf Benet to make the kick off. Christovao Haces showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Benet, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 52 minutes into the game, Alf Benet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Christovao Haces was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Blas Bolaños could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Folke Hybbert made a huge save. Gonchan Marisancena hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of BK Gubbhöft booed when Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan-Carlos Otero didn't get a good kick on the ball.
