David Ospina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillaume Barillot, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Sergio Quintero scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noël Clenet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Saint Côme de Fresné booed when Atlético Bucaramanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Quintero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Silban Bonifaz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Saint Côme de Fresné's Noël Clenet. Noël Clenet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simon Mertz charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Mertz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Saint Côme de Fresné got a freekick which was hit by Simon Mertz. In the 27th match minute, Atlético Bucaramanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silban Bonifaz to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Eneko Oyaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Barillot in the 31st minute of play forced Atlético Bucaramanga's goalkeeper David Ospina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 played minutes Saint Côme de Fresné got a freekick which was hit by Yann Saillet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lugo Saavedra in the 39th minute of play forced Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Noël Clenet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Atlético Bucaramanga were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Atlético Bucaramanga made a substitution. Ellande Aguinagalde replaced Tano Talaga. The wind increased when Guillaume Barillot made the kick off in the second half. Olivier Barnier hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute of the match, Weterio Caceo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Noël Clenet saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Saint Côme de Fresné's Noël Clenet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Saint Côme de Fresné from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Saint Côme de Fresné's Yann Saillet got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Weterio Caceo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Weterio Caceo charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Saint Côme de Fresné fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 84th minute Guillaume Barillot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Ospina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Ospina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillaume Barillot in the 96th minute of the match. The Saint Côme de Fresné supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atlético Bucaramanga's performance. The match ended with a win for Atlético Bucaramanga.
