The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Pinto got free with Feliks Wielkopolski in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, FC SZAFIRY's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Cebo came free, but Feliks Wielkopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 35th minute of the match Karol Pachucki completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Karol Pachucki a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 36 played minutes FC SZAFIRY got a freekick which was hit by Karol Pachucki. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Honorio Pinto put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Feliks Wielkopolski. Honorio Pinto hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Feliks Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Cebo in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacek Koprowski to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Sixto Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Wielkopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC SZAFIRY's Feliks Wielkopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Eli in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Cebo in the 56th minute of play forced FC SZAFIRY's goalkeeper Feliks Wielkopolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Cebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliks Wielkopolski having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Honorio Pinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Lanus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Pinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute Honorio Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Wielkopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Atletico Lanus booed when FC SZAFIRY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludomir Debowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Honorio Pinto sped through FC SZAFIRY's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Feliks Wielkopolski. In the 94th minute, Honorio Pinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Rodrigo Eli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Lanus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. There was no doubt that Club Atletico Lanus were the better team. Club Atletico Lanus's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
