The supporters of Ämmer Sportfreaks booed when Talenti Roma Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Gregori didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Beppe Cherubini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ämmer Sportfreaks's Eike Pollastrini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Beppe Cherubini put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eike Pollastrini. 31 minutes into the game, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Rainier Salaar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florian Pinti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Florian Pinti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rainier Salaar in the 34th minute. In the 36thth minute of the game Rainier Salaar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talenti Roma Calcio's Florian Pinti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florian Pinti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rainier Salaar in the 37th minute of play. After 46 minutes Talenti Roma Calcio's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gregory Dupasquier who took care of the corner kick. Cristoforo Biavati blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eike Pollastrini having to make a save. After the first half Talenti Roma Calcio were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rainier Salaar to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rainier Salaar in the 52nd minute of play forced Talenti Roma Calcio's goalkeeper Florian Pinti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ämmer Sportfreaks getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gregory Dupasquier hit a great ball. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talenti Roma Calcio's goalkeeper Florian Pinti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Talenti Roma Calcio's Florian Pinti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moritz Flück in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute Rainier Salaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Pinti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ämmer Sportfreaks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gregory Dupasquier in the 66th minute. Talenti Roma Calcio's Fabiano Paoletti was substituted for Felice Barbato. When Moritz Flück came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ämmer Sportfreaks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moritz Flück couldn't finish the play. Florian Pinti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rainier Salaar's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Rainier Salaar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Florian Pinti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute, Rainier Salaar made a precise shot to the right of Florian Pinti. Talenti Roma Calcio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Danny Trüssel took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florian Pinti. Florian Pinti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Florian Pinti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Trüssel in the 93rd minute of play. Florian Pinti came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ämmer Sportfreaks's Danny Trüssel. But to his dismay, Danny Trüssel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. After 97 played minutes Talenti Roma Calcio got a freekick which was hit by Beppe Cherubini. Rainier Salaar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Pinti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Ämmer Sportfreaks's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
