Sporting Tuga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC GURZUN the free kick. If Telmo Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, Telmo Silveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cătălin Dăianu. Telmo Silveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Urdăreanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hélder Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC GURZUN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Tuga FC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC GURZUN's zone, Caetano Corte-Real stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cătălin Dăianu came out of the goal and Caetano Corte-Real tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the FC GURZUN defense, Telmo Silveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cătălin Dăianu. The FC GURZUN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cătălin Dăianu should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Hélder Pimentel sped through FC GURZUN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cătălin Dăianu. Cătălin Dăianu came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Tuga FC's Francisco Paixão. But to his dismay, Francisco Paixão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Hélder Pimentel scored 11-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cătălin Dăianu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute Francisco Paixão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Dăianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cătălin Dăianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Cătălin Dăianu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Pimentel's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Cătălin Dăianu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. There was no doubt that Sporting Tuga FC were the better team. Sporting Tuga FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
