In the 7th minute, Gastão Cesário got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ovidio Karmel got in the 9th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Heitor Teixeira handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Luis Swain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Fidalgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gastão Cesário in the 13th minute of play forced Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Luis Swain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gastão Cesário, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Luis Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Fidalgo in the 15th minute of the match. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Heitor Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute Gastão Cesário shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Swain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Cornelio Colas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Club Dep. Union Madereros's Lucas Ioritz was substituted for Cornelio Colas. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Ioritz to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Marciano Gumaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute Silvano Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Swain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Union Madereros:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.:s goal. Heitor Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Karmel, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Silvano Morais recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luis Swain. Silvano Morais showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 74 minutes into the game, Marciano Gumaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Dep. Union Madereros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. the free kick. In the 75th minute, Marciano Gumaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Club Dep. Union Madereros getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Geordi Berthelette hit a great ball. Luis Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Fidalgo in the 83rd minute of the match. Gastão Cesário's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luis Swain firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ovidio Karmel took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heitor Teixeira. Heitor Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When Artur Fidalgo fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s protests and gave Artur Fidalgo a yellow card for diving instead. Artur Fidalgo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match Domingo Manny shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heitor Teixeira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Union Madereros's 宋钢延 got a free kick in the 98th minute. Luis Swain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Valadão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Dep. Union Madereros throughout the match.
