After some careless play in the Gaviotas FC defense, Dante Baba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavino Luke. The Gaviotas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Luke should have stopped the shot. Dante Baba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gavino Luke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sharizan Keng to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Gimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Dante Baba struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Gavino Luke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Australian Youth Academy. Australian Youth Academy's Bradley Obree played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Gimenez in the 22nd minute of play. Gaviotas FC's Gavino Luke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Gaviotas FC from getting a goal against them. Australian Youth Academy's Dante Baba got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Baba scored 4-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavino Luke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 44 minutes, Godfredo Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaviotas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Quinteros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 45th minute of the match Sharizan Keng completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sharizan Keng a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ildefonso Ortle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 4-1 became the score in the 51st minute when Godfredo Quinteros elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 55th minute Dante Baba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Luke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaviotas FC's Damian Rufo was substituted for Fabricio Jakobe. In the 59th minute, Sebastian Gimenez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Gaviotas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Olando came free, but Gavino Luke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavino Luke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lawrance Alwege, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Australian Youth Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fletcher Baba in the 70th minute. The corner led Australian Youth Academy's Lawrance Alwege to fire away a dangerous shot which Gavino Luke despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Dante Baba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Australian Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Baba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavino Luke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 played minutes Gaviotas FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Gimenez. When Australian Youth Academy's Dante Baba in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gaviotas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gavino Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Baba in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Baba in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavino Luke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Isidro Vimaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Dante Baba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Australian Youth Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Dante Baba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Luke having to interfere. If Dante Baba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Australian Youth Academy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
