Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Silvano Morais started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jairo Anjos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Herbert Mochowak made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvano Morais in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbert Mochowak saved KAMILOS from getting behind. Gastão Cesário's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Herbert Mochowak firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manuel Valadão in the 7th minute. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Manuel Valadão was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Herbert Mochowak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 12th match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Fidalgo to maneuver through the defense. Gastão Cesário fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Mochowak having to interfere. KAMILOS's Franciszek Lepucki quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nuno Mourinho, made in the 17th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Ludomir Matela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KAMILOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 29th minute, Roman Tylinski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 46th minute Alexandre Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heitor Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of KAMILOS booed when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Fidalgo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ludomir Matela made the kick off in the second half. KAMILOS's Herbert Mochowak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Anjos in the 50th minute of play. Ludomir Matela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Teixeira having to interfere. Heitor Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Castro in the 53rd minute. With his leg Heitor Teixeira managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when KAMILOS's Alexandre Castro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 61st minute Roman Tylinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heitor Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Gastão Cesário. If Roman Tylinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th match minute, KAMILOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliks Haszczak to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by KAMILOS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Manuel Valadão was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Joaquim Brandão got a free kick in the 77th minute. Herbert Mochowak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gastão Cesário, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Witomir Dembowski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. Herbert Mochowak had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Gastão Cesário's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Herbert Mochowak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gastão Cesário went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Heitor Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomir Matela in the 88th minute of play. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manuel Valadão in the 93rd minute. The corner led Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Manuel Valadão to fire away a dangerous shot which Herbert Mochowak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
