When Dante Baba came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Australian Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Baba couldn't finish the play. Boni Arregui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmichael Tinsley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juaneizu Abellaneda's late challenge caught a Australian Youth Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juaneizu Abellaneda helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Juaneizu Abellaneda. 12 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Casper Keato came free, but Boni Arregui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Gabriel-Omar Hrabina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Fletcher Baba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boni Arregui. Atletico Aragua FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fletcher Baba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Atletico Aragua FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Leheren Callergos hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Fletcher Baba hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Dante Baba took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boni Arregui. Boni Arregui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Boni Arregui came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Australian Youth Academy's Fletcher Baba. But to his dismay, Fletcher Baba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Boni Arregui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Baba, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Australian Youth Academy's Dante Baba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boni Arregui made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Boni Arregui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fletcher Baba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Dante Baba notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Atletico Aragua FC's Boni Arregui. Boni Arregui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.
Casper Keato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boni Arregui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fletcher Baba in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Fletcher Baba recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Boni Arregui. Fletcher Baba showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Carmichael Tinsley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Australian Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmichael Tinsley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boni Arregui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Dante Baba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boni Arregui was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute, Australian Youth Academy's Dante Baba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Fletcher Baba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Boni Arregui made a huge save. Carmichael Tinsley received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Boni Arregui came out and tried to block the shot, but Carmichael Tinsley slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 68th minute. In the 74th minute, Paul Sparks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boni Arregui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fletcher Baba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boni Arregui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fletcher Baba in the 77th minute of the match. Gentza Natos's late challenge caught a Australian Youth Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A hard shot 91 in the game by Fletcher Baba from a close distance when the talented Boni Arregui managed to make a qualified save. Atletico Aragua FC's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fletcher Baba got free with Boni Arregui in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atletico Aragua FC's Boni Arregui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Aragua FC from getting a goal against them. Australian Youth Academy played a much better game than Atletico Aragua FC and deserved their victory. The Atletico Aragua FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
