Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ernesto Damião started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Damião in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Eudoxio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hernan Eudoxio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Damião's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Paulinho Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Locura Académica's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Damião came free, but Hernan Eudoxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Minotauro from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Damião in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Eudoxio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giovanni de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Paio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Felippe Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Damião in the 26th minute of play forced Locura Académica's goalkeeper Hernan Eudoxio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Pascual Paio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovanni de Toledo. Minotauro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Paio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, Locura Académica's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Damião came free, but Hernan Eudoxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Damião took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Eudoxio. Hernan Eudoxio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Minotauro's Ernesto Damião in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Locura Académica's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Minotauro were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pascual Paio was the one to do the kick off. Giovanni de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Paio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute of the game Desiderio Gregory made a throw-in which Jairo Domingues played forward. When Ernesto Damião, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Hernan Eudoxio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Hector Tajo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Locura Académica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minotauro the free kick. A collision led to Locura Académica getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Hector Tajo hit a great ball. Bartosz Bednorz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Eudoxio having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Locura Académica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Mundo to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Ernesto Damião notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Locura Académica's Hernan Eudoxio. Hernan Eudoxio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ernesto Damião in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hernan Eudoxio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Paulinho Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minotauro's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Eudoxio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, Locura Académica's goalkeeper Hernan Eudoxio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Damião. Ernesto Damião who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Hernan Eudoxio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Ernesto Damião got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Locura Académica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Ernesto Damião scored to the left of an out of position Hernan Eudoxio, making the score, 1-6. Minotauro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
