Luisinho da Mata was slow to take the kick. During this time PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s corner Luisinho da Mata fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anier Oidor quite easily take care of the ball. Joaquim Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Anier Oidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Cordareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldo Batistuta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Anier Oidor made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Flavio Lucila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Luisinho da Mata shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Anier Oidor but with some difficulty. Nils-Emil Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Toro in the 26th minute of the match. Nils-Emil Ekström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Balendin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Nils-Emil Ekström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Cordareo in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Lucila during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Nils-Emil Ekström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Balendin in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Celedonio Cordareo made a precise shot to the right of Nils-Emil Ekström. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Lorenzo were winning 0-1.

PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after San Lorenzo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisinho da Mata took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Ronaldo Batistuta heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Joaquim Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Oidor having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Mandrak in the 61st minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Anier Oidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65thth minute of the game Ronaldo Batistuta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo's Anier Oidor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Cordareo got free with Nils-Emil Ekström in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, San Lorenzo's Celedonio Cordareo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nils-Emil Ekström. Nils-Emil Ekström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Gualter Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter Jacinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Oidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Joaquim Guedes got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Balendin in the 80th minute of play forced PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s goalkeeper Nils-Emil Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils-Emil Ekström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Balendin in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Luciano Urki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anier Oidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Jacinto in the 88th minute of the match. Pedro Augusto Lago charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Augusto Lago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match was over San Lorenzo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- throughout the match.
