After 5 minutes, Malte Sandberg made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC DNV Bratiskava's Tomáš Zednikovič tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute, Malte Sandberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Patanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 19thth minute of the game Malte Sandberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC DNV Bratiskava's Tomáš Zednikovič was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd match minute, FC DNV Bratiskava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bohuš Dačev to maneuver through the defense. Malte Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Malte Sandberg put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Tomáš Zednikovič. If Serafin Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Generoso Gorosti struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, FC DNV Bratiskava's goal looked a bit too open when Malte Sandberg came free, but Tomáš Zednikovič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomáš Zednikovič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Sandberg in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Malte Sandberg to make the kick off. Generoso Gorosti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tomáš Zednikovič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC DNV Bratiskava's zone, Florin Panțâru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomáš Zednikovič came out of the goal and Florin Panțâru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Adam Husák fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC DNV Bratiskava's protests and gave Adam Husák a yellow card for diving instead. Adam Husák hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Serafin Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 69 minutes, Serafin Chico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Patanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafin Chico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC DNV Bratiskava's Tomáš Zednikovič proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FC DNV Bratiskava from getting a goal against them. Malte Sandberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomáš Zednikovič. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Malte Sandberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 75 minutes, Serafin Chico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Patanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafin Chico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC DNV Bratiskava's Tomáš Zednikovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malte Sandberg in the 79th minute of play. Tomáš Zednikovič made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malte Sandberg in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute Los Patanes were awarded a corner. Serafino Lehior went to the cornerflag to take it. After 85 minutes, Saturnino Osoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Patanes and the FC DNV Bratiskava players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saturnino Osoro kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Malte Sandberg came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Los Patanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malte Sandberg couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Florin Panțâru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Patanes's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Panțâru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomáš Zednikovič breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los Patanes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
