The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Figueroa got free with Armindo Silveira in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Clis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 6th playminute. In the 9th minute Hildeberto Sesimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Mingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Academia Monte Gordo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oscar Montel ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Anastasio Etxekopar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Armindo Silveira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ullún's Joel Mingo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damião Passos in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Anastasio Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ullún's supporters rose to their feet, but Anastasio Etxekopar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Hector Medardo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Armindo Silveira. Sabino Valverde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Mingo having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Hildeberto Sesimbra notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ullún's Joel Mingo. Joel Mingo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute Anastasio Etxekopar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute Hector Medardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Medardo came free, but Armindo Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ullún booed when Academia Monte Gordo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudemiro Aveiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Anastasio Etxekopar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hildeberto Sesimbra in the 47th minute of play forced Ullún's goalkeeper Joel Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
Armindo Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Medardo in the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Academia Monte Gordo getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Sabino Valverde hit a great ball. Armindo Silveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasio Etxekopar's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Armindo Silveira came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Ullún's Anastasio Etxekopar. But to his dismay, Anastasio Etxekopar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 72nd minute, Hildeberto Sesimbra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joel Mingo. The goal made the score 3-2. After 76 minutes of play, Ullún's Anastasio Etxekopar made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armindo Silveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute Fernando Clis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Medardo in the 82nd minute of the match. Academia Monte Gordo's Armindo Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Figueroa in the 87th minute of play. Flávio Anjos lost his temper 89 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Academia Monte Gordo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Ullún. Hector Medardo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armindo Silveira. 6-2. Armindo Silveira came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ullún's Anastasio Etxekopar. But to his dismay, Anastasio Etxekopar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. Ullún were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Academia Monte Gordo for a fine match.
