The supporters of Intimos de Reynoso booed when Sportivo Ben Hur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Malvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 played minutes, Intimos de Reynoso's Carlos Galvan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ovidio Maureo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Intimos de Reynoso reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nastasio Velastegui during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Intimos de Reynoso got a freekick which was hit by Nastasio Velastegui. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Silvestre Dacio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Ben Hur's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Dacio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milio Cuero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tavo Arrelucea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Maureo having to interfere. After having played for 21 minutes, Tavo Arrelucea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Intimos de Reynoso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tavo Arrelucea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute Silvestre Dacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milio Cuero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erez Marica, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Silvestre Dacio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Erez Marica struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ovidio Maureo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Intimos de Reynoso. Silvestre Dacio kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Erez Marica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ovidio Maureo made a huge save. When Intimos de Reynoso's Erez Marica in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Sportivo Ben Hur getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Silvestre Dacio hit a great ball. Sportivo Ben Hur's Ovidio Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tavo Arrelucea in the 62nd minute of play. Erez Marica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Arrelucea lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Intimos de Reynoso were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
